The water, when an obstacle is interposed, does not stubbornly try to overcome it at the same moment, but does the opposite, it stops calmly the time it takes, perseveres until the time has come and develops a such force, which is capable of breaking down the strongest obstacle we can imagine.
As we head from the lobby of the Canal Foundation headquarters to the auditorium, we are surprised by water falling down the stairs. Looking up, we see a waterfall escaping through the cracks of the auditorium door. The feeling generated is that the auditorium is full of water and the door is about to burst.
"La Fuerza del Agua" (The Force of the Water) was one of the artistic installations that took place at the headquarters of the Canal Foundation in Madrid in 2019, on the occasion of the celebration of its 18 years of activity.

"La Fuerza del Agua" (The Force of the Water) was one of the artistic installations that took place at the headquarters of the Canal Foundation in Madrid in 2019, on the occasion of the celebration of its 18 years of activity.
It is a trompe l'oeil adapted to the architecture of the space in order to create a realistic effect of an overflowing water falling down the access stairs to the auditorium, in which we also intuit seeing through its windows, which is flooded inside.
